Hi. My name is Pelin Aldatmaz, founder of Renewist Coaching & Consulting. I’m a New York University Certified and ICF Associate Certified Coach (ACC), and a Birkman Certified Consultant. Leveraging my training and my corporate experience in diverse work environments, I provide personalized guidance and solutions to a broad range of individuals and teams from different cultures.

I began my career in the World Bank Group and worked as an analyst at the Global Financial Markets and the Independent Evaluation Group of the International Finance Corporation in Washington D.C. between 2001 and 2005. I joined HSBC Corporate Banking in 2005, and through 2012, worked as a senior credit analyst covering a large portfolio of Turkey’s top-tier local and multi-national corporate clients active in energy, telecom, automotive, steel, construction, pharmaceuticals, FMCG, manufacturing and retail industries. I received a BA in Economics from Marmara University in 1999, and an MBA in International Business & Marketing from the George Washington University in 2001.

In 2012, I decided to reinvent myself and left the corporate life to pursue a career path in coaching and consulting. I moved to New York City and completed the Coaching Certificate Program at New York University. In order to bring a more solid foundation and a broader range of skills to my career coaching model, I got certified in the use of a sophisticated personality and career assessment tool, the Birkman Method, in 2013. Also, I attained my ACC credential awarded by the International Coach Federation (ICF) in 2014. I’m a member of the ICF and the ICF New York City Chapter. As the coordinator of New York Birkman Users Group in New York and the surrounding area, I organize bi-monthly meetings to build strong professional relationships between Birkman consultants.

Born and raised in Turkey, I currently live in New York City. I love creativity and art, and have a passion for drawing and painting figures and portraits. Like creating a work of art, I take a creative approach when I work with my clients to build their unique personal brands and help them visualize the big picture.
