Hi. My name is Pelin Aldatmaz, founder of Renewist Coaching & Consulting. I’m a New York University Certified and ICF Associate Certified Coach (ACC), and a Birkman Certified Consultant. I bring eleven years of corporate experience from two global financial institutions into the world of coaching and consulting. Leveraging my experience in diverse work environments, I provide personalized guidance and solutions to a wide range of individuals, including locals and global expats from various cultural and professional backgrounds.

I began my career in the World Bank Group. working as an analyst at the Global Financial Markets and the Independent Evaluation Group of the International Finance Corporation in Washington D.C. (2001-2005). Subsequently, I joined HSBC Corporate Banking in Istanbul where I held a senior credit analyst position (2005-2012), covering a large portfolio of Turkey’s top-tier local and multi-national corporate clients operating in the energy, telecom, automotive, steel, construction, pharmaceuticals, FMCG, manufacturing and retail industries.

I decided to reinvent myself and left the corporate life to pursue a career path in coaching and consulting. I moved to New York City, completed the Coaching Certificate Program at New York University (2013) and became certified in the Birkman Method (2013). Also, I earned my ACC credential from the International Coach Federation (2014) and became a member of the ICF and the ICF New York City Chapter. As the coordinator of New York Birkman Users Group in New York and the surrounding area, I organize bi-monthly meetings to build strong professional relationships between Birkman consultants.

I hold a BA in Economics from Marmara University and an MBA in International Business & Marketing from The George Washington University.

Born and raised in Turkey, I live in New York City. I love creativity and art, and have a passion for painting figures and portraits from life. Like creating a work of art, I take a creative approach when I work with my clients to build their unique personal brands and help them visualize the big picture. As a part-time student at The Art Students League of New York, I continually hone my artistic skills and stay inspired by the creative community.
